Gone but not forgotten.

I recently learned of the sudden passing of Brian Blanchard – an amazing individual whose mission was to help others feel their best when dealing with hair loss.

I met Brian seven years ago when I lost my hair due to cancer.
As physically hard as treatments were, the hardest part of recovery was the psychological impact being bald had on me.

Brian was my emotional lifesaver. From the first meeting when I still had hair to the day he shaved my head – he showed nothing but kindness, compassion and a wonderful sense of humor.

In honoring him I ask that you please do the following. Take the time to thank someone who has come to your emotional rescue, whether recently or years ago. You know who they are -the individual whose simple acts of kindness has changed you forever.

Thank you Brian ,you will forever be in my heart.

Cara – well said! I just returned from Brian’s memorial service. It was beautiful – filled with wonderful stories, music, laughter and tears. I was glad to have the chance to give Jeff a hug and tell him how much he and Brian meant to me and many others in the breast cancer community. I thanked him for being my wig angels. Brian will be missed greatly.
